storing your garlic

How do you get the most out of your Gourmet Garlic?

Garlic stores for several months until its natural time to be planted in the ground, at this point you will start seeing little green shoots form. Planting time for our garlic is April and so its best to have all your garlic used up by then.

You can use your garlic in so many ways- here's a few hints and check out our blog for more recipes tips and tricks!

  • Fresh Garlic until the end of April
  • Touum- A traditional Mediterranean garlic dip
  • Preserved Garlic in Olive Oil
  • Dehydrated Garlic
  • Black Garlic
  • Minced Garlic
  • Fermented Honey Garlic
  • BEST OF ALL- Freeze your fresh Garlic!

Freezing your garlic is by far the best option to have an entire years supply of premium Aussie garlic without the pesticides, insecticides and anti-sprouting hormones. Foreign countries that Australia imports the majority of garlic from, very often are using chemicals during their growth and production that are banned here in Australia for good reason. Vote with your dollar and support your local farmers- in return you can expect amazing quality, nutrient packed and chemical free Garlic... Nourish yourself!

Break up the bulb into cloves, and place the cloves into a ziplock bag and put them into the freezer. Take them out as you need them and use them exactly as per usual- YUM!
